TheprobemainlyconsistsofaRamanspectrometerthatextractsthe vibrationalpropertiesfromthelightscatteredbythesaltymedium. Thespectrumofthe O?HstretchingbandwasshowntobestronglyaffectedbytheintroductionofNaClandthe temperaturechangeaswell.AparameterS de?nedastheratiooftheintegratedintensities D oftwopartsofthisbandallowstostudythetemperatureandconcentrationdependencesof thephasetransition. Then,aneasyandef?cientsignalprocessingandtheexploitationof amodi?edBoltzmannequationgiveinformationonthephasetransition. Validationswere doneonsolutionswithvaryingconcentrationofNaCl.
