MethodologyandPrincipalFindings:OutoftheTRENDstudy(TuebingerevaluationofRiskfactorsforEarlydetectionof NeurodegenerativeDisorders),686neurodegenerativelyhealthy,non-dementedelderlyaged50to80yearswereclassified accordingtotheirTrailMakingTestperformance(deltaTMT;TMT-BminusTMT-A).Thesubjectsperformed20mwalkswith habitualandmaximumspeed.Dualtaskingperformancewastestedwithwalkingatmaximumspeed,incombinationwith checkingboxesonaclipboard,andsubtractingserial7satmaximumspeeds.Asexpected,thepoorTMTgroupperformed worsewhensubtractingserial7sundersingleanddualtaskconditions,andtheywalkedmoreslowlywhensimultaneously subtractingserial7s,comparedtothegoodTMTperformers.Inthewalkingwhensubtractingserial7sconditionbutnot in the other 3 con
