Vocational and technical education how to adapt to new economic development in the 21st century Abstract: This paper analyzes the information society the main features of the new economy and its impact on vocational and technical education in the direction of occupational education reform: the implementation of learner-centered flexible learning system; from the early emphasis on cultivating the ability to shift positions for the special a professional group, and to adapt to new economic needs by developing the basis for the ability and critical ability to enhance the learner’s career adaptability.
