[Abstract] PBL as a teaching internationally popular mode of application in medical education increasingly widespread. This article describes the content and PBL teaching mode characteristics and application of nursing education in the current situation of graduate education in nursing to carry out PBL’s the necessity and feasibility, and to propose positive PBL in nursing graduate education to promote the application of the measures.

Graduate education is to train nursing care management, teaching, research and clinical advanced nursing personnel effective way in advanced nursing education a top priority. But now nursing graduate education also has been used with a traditional, passive teaching methods, especially in the critical thinking students and professional core competencies, professional human spirit lack of effective methods [1,2].
