Exploration of the anti-monopoly exemption system for professional sport

Abstract: Professional sport based on the dualism of sport and commerce shows the particularity of monopoly and
competition. In practice, professional sport is subject to the regulation of the anti-monopoly law on the one hand,
while brought into the anti-monopoly exemption system to a different extent on the other hand. This is not only pro-
vided with a profound theoretical foundation, but also proved by legal practice of other countries and regions. With
the promulgation and implementation of the anti-monopoly law of China, it is necessary to look forward into the
anti-monopoly exemption system for professional sport in China, clarify its principle, control its extent, and realize
its standardization so soon as possible.
