Abstract: The curriculum reform is the current core mission of higher vocational education reform, while the school-based curriculum development is a concrete manifestation of the curriculum reform. Higher vocational education is also different from the common core of higher education. This paper analyzes the impact of the structural elements of school-based curriculum development and contradictions, focuses on school-based curriculum development strategy.

The curriculum reform is the current core mission of higher vocational education reform, while the school-based curriculum development is a concrete manifestation of the curriculum reform. Higher vocational education is also different from the common core of higher education. If the higher vocational education curriculum is only an imitation of regular higher education and reduced, then the higher vocational education, and will lose their meaning to life.
