Leading-in Daily report (A story about polar bears) Step 2. Pre-task 1.Talk (Make up dialogues about their favourite seasons) / Report (The seasons in one’s hometown / UK / Germany /…) 2.Discussion ( The weather in different seasons among different cities in China and the world by reading the map of China / the world ) Spring Summer Autumn Winter Beijing Wuhan Kunmin Hangzhou England Germany Toronto Sydney Step 3. While-task 1.Listening comprehension.(Tape listen and answer “What’s the weather like in Sydney now?”) 2. Reading comprehension.(Ask and answer tag questions according to the dialogue in pairs ) 3. Role-play. (Practice the dialogue and then act the dialogue in group of three after listening and repeating the tape.) 4. Form tag questions and then answer them according to the truth. 5. Brainstorming. (Students are divided into 4 groups, each group try to imagine some words or phrases related to the 4 pictures of the seasons.) 6. Competition. (The students from each group try to make as many tag questions as they can, and then answer them.) Step 4. Post-task The results Group1/Spring Group2/Summer Group3/Autumn Group 4 /Winter Step 5. Home work Finish off the rest of the exercises. 课后反思 : 在明确了任务目标后,精心设计恰当而又有效的活动,积极创设能让学生主动交流的语言环境,把课本材料还原成活生生的交际语言,既紧扣了教材,又抛开了教材,然后再回到教材。让每个学生进入活动角色,积极用英语思维,通过小组合作,把书本知识内化为实实在在的语言交际能力。由于学生值日报告的内容(关于北极熊)事先是未知的,所以我一边听一边思考,尽快把话题引到天气与季节上,同时也引出了反意疑问句。对话如下: T: So the polar bear is really lovely, isn’t it?
