All that glitters is not gold. I hope that the little that I have been able to do has been of great use. (2). 先行词被形容词的最高级或序数词修饰时 　　　eg. That is the best film that I have ever seen. (3). 先行词中既有人又有物时 　　　eg. Do you know the things and persons that they are talking about? (4). 先行词被 the very, the only, the last等修饰时 　　　eg. The only thing that we can do is to give you some money. (5). 当先行词前面有 who/ which　等疑问代词时 　　　eg. Which is the bike that you lost?/Who is the boy that won the gold medal? (6). 先行词本身是what, who　时 eg. What that is on the table belongs to me. (7). 先行词在主句中作表语，在定语从句中也作表语时 　　　eg. Beijing is not the city that it was. (改句式：Beijing is not ＿＿＿＿　it was.) 　只用 which的情况： (1). 在非限制性定语从句中 　(2). 当动词短语中的介词提前时: This is a house in which LuXun once lived. (3). 若有两个定语从句，一个用 that,另一个需用 which: eg. The book that he bought yesterday was the one which he liked best. (4). 关系代词which还可以用作定语 　　　eg. He may be late, in which case we ought to wait for him. (5). which 还可以指代具有某种职业或特点的人 　　　eg. He is a football player, which I also want to be. ★2. as 引导的定语从句 1). 作关系代词与such、so连用 比较：so…that…引导的结果状语从句“如此…以至于…” I never give the students so difficult problems they can not work out. (such和as可以连在一起用) 2). the same和as连用以及the same 和 that 连用 She wears the same dress as her sister wore yesterday.
