Themechanical and electrical units as well as its optical ima ging systems were designed. T he spindlespeed and theinterval from instant stop to take pictures are determined in many experiments. A fast algorithm for the delineation of the region detection was proposed, and for the movement characteristics of small objects, an efficient algo rithm to identify small objects was proposed. Under the Visual C+ + programming environment, experiments on the platform have proved the effectiveness and value of proposed algorithms, its precision and speed have met the requirements of the production line.
