It is complex to set two beam s and two columns on both sides of expansion joint in the ring structure, at the same tmi e the structure can notgive steady support to upper reticulated shel,l so the schemew ithout expansion joint is appropriate to be adopted. W ithout expansion joint along the ring, the calculated tensile stress in the structures beams and slabs are 2 2 303 N /mm and 395 N /mm respectively during construction in w inter after concrete has been cast in summ er, and themom ent of critical section in column of outer ring is 8 tmi es as large as the moment w ithout temperature effect considered.
