1 Questions 11--15 are based on the following passage passage Three Sunrise in San Diego colors the sky with purples and oranges. The colors combine to make a glorious view, the palm trees lining the streets stand to attention, and nothing seems the least bit hurried in this city just north of Mexico. Theres no better way to enjoy this San Diego sun than taking a walk in the citys spacious Balboa Park. The park is made up of beautiful gardens, 10 museums, and the centerpiece, the world- famous San Diego Zoo, which is home to some 4, 000 exotic creatures such as pandas, tigers and monkeys. Ocean Beach is popular with surfers and sunbathers. It began a century ago as a group of weekend beach cabins, many of which have now been converted into homes. It is a1so home to a 630-metre-long public dock, the longest on the West Coast, which is often lined with fishermen standing shoulder-to-shoulder. At first glance the area seems like nothing more than a tourist trap. The Giant Dipper, a restored 65-year-old roller coaster at an amusement park called Belmont Park, greets you upon entry to Mission Beach. The Mission Beach-La Jolla area is a lot to take in at once, and it is easy to get sucked into the bars and restaurants along the beach catering to tourists. The 16-block downtown neighborhood has been designated a National Historic District. Every Wednesday night the Cafe Sevilla offers free dance lessons to beginners. Around 10 p. m. pairs of true dance experts come out onto the dance floor and show the beginners how its done. Simply watching these people turn and glide to the steady beat of the bongo drums is just as entertaining as getting out and doing it yourself. It is the perfect way of ending an evening in the beautiful San Diego. 11. Where is the most possible place you could read this passage? A. In a science fiction novel B. In a history textbook. C.
