M ethods: Human fibrino en w as 2+ demi inated by the peptidylar inine demi inase ( PAD) in the presence of Ca in vitro. ACF w as detected by ELISA in 352 patients w ith rheum atic d iseases ( 183 RA, 121 SLE and 48 OA ) and 108 healthy con- trols.
