Methods: Autologous transfusion was applied in 43 patients with serious surgical bleeding. Routine and four parameters of blood coagulation were examined for the blood samples taken before and 24h after operation. Results: For the 43 patients, the total blood volume recycled from self-body was 54050ml, and the mean blood volume was 1257±740.7ml. Whereas the platelet count of the blood samples taken 24h after operation was lower than before operation(p0.05), there was no obvious variations in coagulation indexes(p0.05). Conclusion: Not only 3000P Autologous Blood Recovery System could effectively recover bleeding in the process of operation and decrease the complications of blood transfusion, but also it has no evident effect on coagulation function. So 3000P Autologous Blood Recovery System could be a simple, economical, practical and safe method for blood transfusion.
