M ethods Cerebellum specm ens w ere observed both n sag tta l sect on and hor zonta l sect on. R esu lts Sporad c foca l subarachno d hem orrhagesw ere detected n 21 cases and d ffu se hem orrhage n 15 cases. H em orrhage w th foca l lam nal destruct on w as no ted n 28 cases. In sect ons sporad c hem orrhage could be seen around aqueductus cerebr n 8 cases, under ventr culu s quartus wall n 13 cases, on the top of tons lla cerebell n 6 cases and nodulus surface n 9 cases. Local sw ell ng cou ld be seen w thout hemorrhage n 17 cases. Cerebellum m dl ne w as sh fted by local sw ell ng n 5 cases. 4 cases show ed culm en sw e ll ng and sh ft ng upw ards, and 6 cases sh ft ng to splen um corpor s ca llos. A queductus cerebr stenos s w as found n 4 cases and occlus on n 10 cases, wh ch w as cau sed by cu lm en and lobu lu s cen tra l s sh fted ahead and ups de. Centra l lobule and nodu lu sw ere found of sw ell ng and sh ft ng ahead n 11 cases, or sw ell ng o f centra l lobule and cerebellar tons l n 6 cases, w h ch led to ob l terat on o f aqueductus cerebr and stenos s o f ventr cu lu s quartu s. 1
