Efficacy of low-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic
stimulation in the treatment of the lateral fissure week aphasia of
post-stroke
Abstract :In recent years, the incidence of stroke is rising at an annual
rate of 9%, With Chinas increasing number of stroke patients has also
increased the incidence of post-stroke aphasia. According to the World
Health Organization (WHO) survey data show that recovery of aphasia often
need more than 2 years, and only 20% patients can be fully restored. Thus,
aphasia not only the rehabilitation process is slow, and the prognosis is also
unsatisfactory, the vast majority of patients with aphasia longterm or even
lifelong legacy ranging degree of speech dysfunction, some patients with the
outside world verbally communicative completely lost, a serious impact on
their social skills, which greatly reduces the quality of their daily lives, in
addition, also bring huge burden of the family and society. Therefore,
attracted the attention of more and more scholars at home and abroad for the
treatment and rehabilitation of patients with aphasia.
There are many types of aphasia, which are not the same prognosis.
Accordance with the Benson Law, aphasia can be divided into three
categories: the subcortical aphasia syndrome, the watershed area aphasia
syndrome and the lateral fissure week aphasia syndrome. The data show that
the subcortical aphasia is generally able to recover on its own, the prognosis
is good; the lateral fissure week aphasia syndrome is relatively poor
prognosis. A common feature of the latter is a repeat have varying degrees of
disorder, and the lesions are located in the lateral fissure week. According to
the specific lesilesion can be divided into: (1) Broca aphasia; (2) Wernicke
