With the multi-class classifiers, the classification accuracy of the class of interest is affected by the partitioning of the data distribution. This paper analyses the effect of the partitioning of data distribution on one-class extraction with Bayesian classifier. As a parametric method， the Bayesian classifier achieves good classification performance with the data distribution partitioning that has high class separability. With appropriate partitioning of the data set ，the specific class of interest can be well extracted from a remotely sensed image. Th
