Duty Report Ask one or two students on duty to give a report, the others listen carefully and answer the teacher’s questions according to the report.. Step 2. Review Learn the new words and phrases by discussion and making sentences. E.g. be pleased with Jim’s mother was pleased with him because he passed the exam . from now on I’ll work hard at English from now on. … Let students look at the verbs on the cards and revise the past participles of these words . eg. T: Do you know these words? Ss: Yes. T: OK! Tell me the past participles of these words. Can you tell me the past participle of “speak”? S1: Yes. It’s “spoken”. T: Can you spell it, please? S1: Yes.
