Gray Space serves as the transition, connection, division and set-off in the sequence space. Three characteristics of Gray Space are found in this paper, namely, the rich structure, the uncertain form and the close connection with surrounding spaces. In this framework, the author further studies the spatial structure, the form and the expansibility of Gray Space by the case-study method, with the aim of demonstrating the importance of Gray Space in space role and providing some reference and suggestions for landscape architecture design.
