The design is the drive mechanics of a gantry crane. Along with the our country manufacturing industry and logistics industry rapid development, portal crane in port, dock, goods yard plays a irreplaceable role. The design of this paper is the structure design of the 40 ton gantry crane. According to the users performance parameters, size, quality, price and other aspects of the device, the design and calculation are carried out. The design and calculation method is the most basic, reference manuals and related books.
