The resu lts sh w that thew ear resistance is mi pr ved due t austen ite transf rm ing in t martensite after subcriticalheat treat ment. There is c incidence relati n betw een w ear resistance and retained austenite c n tent in the cast ir n. And the pti malw ear resistance c rresp nds w ith certain retained austen ite c ntent. It is ab u t 10% under the expermi ental c ndi ti n.
