Introduction In 1989, I published the Cognition-based Functional of Chinese (Toward Grammar a), which is based on cognition, and put forward my philosophy and methodology of Chinese grammar research. [1], on the one hand, is based on my reflection on generative grammar in the late 1970s. On the other hand, it is my own experience in teaching chinese. In 1984, I published the concept of time in Chinese verb system and the Chinese word order and time word order published in 1985.
