Teaching reflection of parabola and its standard equation
The new round of curriculum reform has been rolling up. As a teacher who has the opportunity to participate in it, I deeply feel the heavy responsibility on my shoulder and the problems that I need to improve urgently. The new curriculum reform advocates everything for the development of every student. In class, students are the main body and teachers are the guides....... These ideas suggest that a common goal: to fully mobilize the initiative of students, let them potential enthusiasm burst out, thus creating the past cramming, What I say goes. teaching can not achieve results, we will gradually develop into a real student innovation the spirit and practice ability of the people for the new century. ?
In this video, Im going to teach about parabola and its standard equation. A parabola is students are exposed to third kinds of conic curve, it is relative to the ellipse and hyperbola should be simple, just out of the opening in four directions, so that the standard equation, the focus of the parabola coordinates and alignment equation number more, form very close to, students will easily confused. I am in the design of this class, there are two main ways: one is to let students to derive standard equation, three kinds of opening conditions focus and coordinate alignment equation, let them find their regular memory. But it will take a lot of time, exercise practice is not sufficient; the other is the idea of me when they launched the right opening standard parabolic equation, and the conclusion gives a direct memory method of the remaining three cases, treatment time exercises so that it can make the problem by doing to enhance students knowledge of memory and consolidate. Hesitate again and again, I chose the first program for my teaching.
