D with consonant letters plus y at the end of the monosyllabic word and part of the double syllable word change grade, we should first change the y to I, plus er:early-earlier, busy-busier.
E polysyllabic words or parts of disyllabic words are not added more:outgoing-, more, outgoing, difficult-more, difficult. at the
