Introduction Role play refers to a game in which children imitate and imagine and act creatively to reflect real life. In role games, there are always some themes, so it is also called theme game. Role play is the most typical and unique game of early childhood. In the role play, children change their feelings and experiences of the characters into their own cognition of the adult world. Viggo J Ki, a Soviet psychologist, believes that games are childrens purposeful and conscious social activities, and they are a special practice of children. When children see the activities of adults around them, they imitate them and move them into the game. The social practice of the game is a kind of life phenomenon that is created in the real practice situation and in action. Games are a reflection of childrens real life, and children can master basic social relationships through games.
