Activity theme:
How to motivate students to express their desires in Chinese classroom.
Background:
The rural children account for more than half of the total student population. Students due to family education, personality characteristics, the influence of such factors as their language learning level and there are many differences between learning consciousness, general performance for participation awareness is poor, dont like to express themselves, did not dare to bold to express their ideas in front of people. As the grade grows, more and more students hate speaking in public, and they dont want to raise their hands, even when they know the answer to the question. The language curriculum points out: Chinese curriculum of basic education stage mission is: to inspire and cultivate students interest in learning Chinese, so that the students build self-confidence, develop good study habits and form effective learning strategies, development of autonomous learning ability and cooperation spirit; To enable students to grasp the basic knowledge and listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, and to make certain comprehensive language skills. Cultivate students observation, memory, thinking, imagination and spirit of innovation; Help students to understand the world and the Chinese and western cultural differences and expand horizons, cultivate the spirit of patriotism, forming healthy outlook on life, for their life-long learning and development to lay a good foundation. As a language, the main function of Chinese language is to communicate, to arouse students desire to express, and to to say to I will say.
