Abstract
R ecent years, w ith the increasing exploitation of coal resources, coal resources in
shallow gradually reduce year by year, but m ining depth is m uch deeper. H igh stress is
m ain problem w hich threaten roadw ay support for deep m ine. From the m iddle of last
century, the bolting w as w idely used, and has becom e the m ainstream for coal m ine
roadw ay support. D ue to characteristics of high stress, large rock deform ation in deep
m ine, sim ple bolting or shed-style com petence support has been difficult to ensure
roadw ay stability for long tim e and provide services for face m ining successfully.
Therefore, the support research and developm ent for deep and high stress m ine is to
w arding com bined support.
In this paper, w ith specific geological conditions in M ei H e coal m ine, through
anglicizing on existing support status in w orking face N O . 1601 and the determ ination
of rock, the surrounding rock loose circle and the ground stress ,w e have analyzed the
tw o rodaw ays are high stress and they have the conditions of high stress
appearance.B ased on research on support theory of high stress roadw ay at hom e and
abroad, the support program is proposed for the w orking face N O .1601 that the bolt +
anchor + m etal m esh + reinforced ladder + concrete + plastic m etal stents. In view of
the program , num erical sim ulation w ith FLA C and field test has been carried out. The
pressure observation has been done for the test roadw ay. The M acro-test results and
pressure observations proved that the design program is rationality and applicability. It
provides technical inform ation to the high stress roadw ay support. It solves seam
support problem s under high stress.
