It is the best embodiment of the concept of the new curriculum to bring Orienteering into the middle school sports teaching.The development of Jiangsu province orienteering is relatively early, but is not good in middle school. At present, only Nanjing, Yangzhou, Suzhou and a few middle school has set up Orienteering team,.The distribution is imbalance. The teaching ,training and scientific research of orienteering is still relatively small. Therefore, the analysis about existing problems and present situation of Middle School Orienteering team in Jiangsu province can provide some reference for the healthy development of Jiangsu province orienteering. Literature method, interview method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics, logicanalysis are used in the paper. with more than 40 coaches, 30 t
