Methods: Describing the current researches about PAF and its receptor antagonist according to the related literatures. Results: Summarizing the resent research results about PAF and its receptor antagonist from the aspects of chemical structure, action mechanism and types of receptor antagonist. Conclusion: PAF is a Phospholipids Cell Factor which has very wide biological activity. It participates in many kinds of physiological and pathological process which can be prevented by receptor antagonist of PAF. So researching on PAF and its receptor antagonist has a profound signifi cance on treatment of human disease.
