Ask Ss to dictate some words and phrases of Unit 7. 2.(slide of Part C) Ask Ss to practise in pairs. 3.(slide of next picture of Part A) Ask questions. (1)Where is Helen going? (2)Where is Gao Shan going? (3)Where are Su Hai and Su Yang? (4)Are they studying in the library? 4.Ask Ss to recite the next part of the dialogue together. 1.Do the dictation. 2.Practise in pairs. 3.Answer questions individually. 4.Recite the next part of the dialogue together. Step 2 Look and read 1. (slide of Part E) Ask Ss to look at pictures and answer questions: What is the dog doing? What is the mouse doing? (cards: food, cry, laugh) 2.(tape-recorder) Ask Ss to read (1)Read after tape. (2)Read after T. (3)Read together. (4)Read individually. 1.Look at pictures and answer questions. Learn to say “food, cry, laugh”. Step 3 Listen and repeat 1.(slide) Ask Ss to review the sound of letter “i” learnt before. 2.Ask Ss to pronounce the words and try to say out another sound of letter “i”. 3.(tape-recorder) Ask Ss to repeat after tape. 1.Read and pronounce. 2.Try to pronounce another sound of letter “i”. 3.Repeat after tape. Step 4 Say a rhyme 1. (slide) Ask questions: (1)Where is Father? What is he doing? (2) What is Mother doing? (3) Where is Brother? What is he doing? (4) What is Sister doing? (5) Where are you?
