大连保税区情况介绍(国外英语资料) Development of Dalian Free Trade Zone In May 13, 1992, the State Council approved the establishment of the Dalian Free Trade Zone, covering an area of 1.25 square kilometers. In October 17th of the same year, the fence isolation facilities were officially put into operation through the national customs administration, and the actual net purse seine area was 1.92 square kilometers. In April 27, 2000, the State Council approved the establishment of Dalian export processing zone, covering an area of 2.95 square kilometers. In May 16, 2001, Dalian export processing zone A District, through the eight ministries and commissions of the State Council jointly accepted, began operation, a closed area of 1.5 square kilometers. The export processing zones in Dalian, in accordance with international practices, refer to the mode of operation of the international free zones.
