Early society in the Republic of China and education modernization Research Orientation: modern social problems of China Director: Professor Bin Changchu Postgraduate: Wang Lin Abstract The process of metabolism is the essential rules of the universe development. Education is the catalyst which promote society developing. The course that all the country developed from the medieval to modernization proved education is the assurance of talents. Education modernization is inevitable trend of social development. After the Opium war it went through a transformation stage, from traditional to modernization, from closed to open, and finished its historical transition in early the Republic of China. Chinese traditional education lasted thousands years ended, modernization education came into being. Early society in the Republic of China was an important times that transformed from traditional to modernization, a huge, important transition was taken place in such fields as politics, economy, culture and so on, yet all the transition of social structure, renewal of culture and value ideas were concerned with education, it was the most sensitive nerve which make society transforming, it was not only the end of Chinese politics and economy development, but had great counteraction. One hand early society in the Republic of China education had its inner regularity, the other were controlled by the course of such modernization as policy, economy and culture in that times. So clarified well early society in the Republic of China education, we should understand fully the relations betwe
