PC台式机（国外英文资料） 1. The AGP Pro As the display card processing power continues to improve, the power consumption of chips and the amount of heat dissipation increases dramatically. In April 1999, the Accelerated Graphics Port Implementors Forum released the AGP Pro 1.1 specification. The AGP Pro is designed to provide extra power for a new generation of graphics accelerator CARDS, providing better performance for high-end workstations. AGP Pro content mainly includes the elongation of AGP interface, insulating layer, improve the input/output bracket and fixed bracket, the graphics accelerator card at the end of the interface and the mainboard new layout design requirements. AGP Pro extends both sides of the original AGP slot, providing extra power. It is meant to enhance, not replace, the existing AGP slot.
