Testing of lead and other heavy metals in water 測試水中的鉛及其他重金屬含量 HKAS has recently received a number of enquiries on water quality testing. If you wish to conduct testing of lead and other heavy metals in water to the WHO ’s guideline values, it is advised to engage a testing laboratory accredited by HKAS under the Hong Kong Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (HOKLAS) for such analyses, and request the accredited laboratory to issue ‘HOKLAS endorsed test reports’for the analyses conducted. Links to lists of laboratories accredited by HKAS to perform analyses of lead, cadmium, chromium and nickel in water, with their reporting limits meeting the WHO guideline values, are provided below for easy reference.
