TheresearchofUpdatingAlgorithmabout八association RuiesDataMining Abstract:TheIncrementalUpdatingAlgorithmofAssociationRulesisanalgorithm whichforfindingnewruleswhenthesizeofData-sets,Mini-SupportorMini-Confidence changes.ThispapermainlydiscusseskindsofIncrementalUpdatingAlgorithmthathowto findassociationurlesunderoneoffactorschangeandothersholdtheline. First,wediscussthealgorithmoffindingassociationurlesinwhichthesizeofData-sets becomelargerandMini-Support,Mini-Confidencedontchange.Someone,suchas D.Wcheung,advancedtwoalgorithmstosolvethisproblem,whichisFUPandFUP*[11].Butit isregretfulthatthetwoalgorithmsscanDataBasetoomanytimes.Weputforwardanew algorithm,FlUPalgorithm.ThisalgorithmobtainsthesetofnewdatasetsLargeItemsonthe baseofmakingthebestofformerLargeItems,thenremovesthepublicLargeItemsofformer DataBaseandnewLargeItems,andscansformerData-setandnewData-setagain,thengains allLargeItems.ComparingwithFUPandFUP,thealgorithmofFIUPdecreasesthetimesof scanningDataBase.ThetimesofscanningDataBasedecreasingmeansimprovingthewhole algorithmsefficiencybecauseoftherelativeDatatoomuchinpracticalapplications. Second,wediscussthealgorithmoffindingassociationurlesinwhichMini-Support changesandthesizeofData-sets,Mini-Confidencedontchange.Yucai-Fenghasimprovedthe UIAalgorithm,buttherearesomeerrorsinit.Soweputforwardanimprovedalgorithm,EUA, tosolvethiskindofproblems.ThisalgorithmtakesinmeritofAprioriandconsiderstoproduct aslittleaspossible.Inaddition,EUAcansolvestheproblemthatnewSupportlessthanformer Support.
