* 1105 Iris Dan Gary It was a good news for us to have a seven-day holiday, So, on April 1st about 8 o’clock am, we three gathered in Beijing Capital International Airport and started our journey. Yes, you are right! Our first stop is London, we had lunch on the plane and it was about 2 o’clock in the afternoon when we arrived at London. So we went straight to the hotel which we booked yesterday. As you know, London is the center of Britain’s political, economic, culture and transportation, and the largest seaports and prime industrial city too. We had a rest in the hotel until dinner time. As the first day here, we decided to go to a Chinese restaurant for dinner and after dinner, we went to the British Museum and St. Pauls Cathedral. The Britain Museum St Pauls Cathedral Tired but happy ,it is almost 10 o’clock in the evening ,we backed to hotel and prepared for driving to the York to see the famous university Cambridge and York Minster. Our breakfast in the second day was Western-style breakfast and then we got on car. Cambridge University York Minster York is known as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and York minster is the largest church in Britain. This is a historical town and the history of York is the history of England. Our lunch and dinner were both some Chinese Dim Sum (中式点心）. And we stayed at York on the second night. The third day was most important. Because we were going to a very beautiful city——Edinburgh. Edinburgh is the capital and culture exhibition center of Scotland. It has a superior geographic location and its International atmosphere and strong local characteristics has been ranked the best residential area. The genius of a local writer said: there is no better known as the kingdoms leading place here; there is no more noble and attractive scenery here breakfast lunch dinner We have been in Edinburgh for 2 days because of a heavy rain. But Edinburgh rainy day was also charming. *
