International trade International trade is the exchange of capital, goods, and services across international borders or territories. 2. International trade law 2.1 International law International law is the set of rules generally regarded and accepted as binding in relations between states The term “international law” can refer to three distinct legal disciplines: (1) Public international law, which governs the relationship between states and international entities. It includes these legal fields: treaty law, law of sea, international criminal law, the laws of war or international humanitarian law and international human rights law. (2) Private international law, or conflict of laws, which addresses the questions of which jurisdiction may hear a case, and the law concerning which jurisdiction applies to the issues in the case. (3) International economic law, which regulates the behavior of states, international organizations and firms operating in the international economic field. International trade law is a sub-discipline of international economic law. 2.2 International trade law International trade law includes the appropriate rules and customs for handling trade relations between countries. It is also used in legal writings as trade relations between private sectors. International trade law refers to the body of rules and norms regulating the relationship between traders from different countries, the relationship between national government and foreign traders and the relationship between different countries taking place in international trade. 3. The objects and subjects of international trade law 3.1 Transaction relationship (in international trade) It refers to the relationship
