It tries to identify som e difficulties in the theory and point out a possib le w ay to m odify it to avoid them . To start w ith, I analyze the parallelism contained in G odels philosophy of m athem atics concretely，exam ining its ontological aspect and epistem ological aspect in details. Specifically, I w ant to ascertain tw o things :firstly, w hat is the difference betw een the parallelism argum ent and the indispensab ility argum ent for ontological realism ; secondly, under epistem ological parallelism , w hat consequences can the new nature of m ath em atica l in tu ition an d th e in tro d u ction o f in du ction m eth o d in to m ath em atica l research bring onto the apriority of m athem atical know ledge. A fter all this, I com e up w ith tw o criticism s to the parallelism , corresponding to the tw o central notions in G odels philosophy, i.e. the notion of concepts ex isting independently of m ind and that of m athem atical intu ition, respectively. The problem of the form er lies in that concepts p lay a central role in G odels ep istem ology w hile they are ontologically rootless，w hich m eans here G odels parallelism argum ent for ontological realism doesnt app ly to concepts directly.
