Abstract Energy is the material foundation for human existing and development. More and more energy was consumed with the development of social and progress of human civilization, if there is not a valid measure, the energy will be used up, the environment will be deteriorating. So opening up new energy and renewable energy is a main task and strategic subject for the development of national economy and building up a well off society in 21st century. The ground heat pump is a device that use the heat from the shallow layer of the earth, provide heating and refrigerant for the buildings. It has drawn great attention around the world for apparently saving energy and meeting environmental protection requirement. Compared with the traditional pump, the ground heat pump adds a ground heat exchanger that is berry pipe circle underground. So the exchangers design, construction and fixing become the key point and the most difficulty things in the application of the ground heat exchanger, make it well match the parts of the pump and the terminal system of air condition. This paper introduced how the ground heat pump deliver heat, analyzed the heat transmission in and out of the underground drill, gave mathematical conclusion and theoretical calculations, compiled a computer program of the pump, and provided a method of designing the pump. By analyzing Inner Mongolia Development Committee s example of the ground heat pump, and measuring the earth temperature, the article get the distribution of the primitive temperature, the changes of the earth temperature during the machine works, and the temperature changes of the pump side.
