This course is set up for the students to learn the medical immunology in which the immune responses in the body under both healthy and disease conditions are discussed in lectures. Based on the understanding for principle of basic and clinical immunology, the diagnosis, prevention and therapy of diseases are introduced. In this course, the constitution and components of immune system, immune function, the mechanism and regulation of immune response are emphasized. Teaching Object: To lays the foundation for the students to learn other basic medicine courses and clinical medicine courses, developing their abilities in thinking and working independently and rigorous approach of doing scientific research. Basic requirement: To have a good command of the components in the immune system and the functions of this system, the basic principles that explain how?the immune?response?work, the mechanisms via which the immune responses can itself be harmful in pathological conditions（hypersensitivity and immunodeficiency disease, and some immunological techniques.
