So insurance industry plays a very important role in the developme肘， trade and tech nological innovation of other local industries. From the perspective of the development of Jiangsu insurance industry , this paper analyzes the relevant factors affecting the development of the in surance indu日 try. Using the 10-year data of Jiangsu in 2005-2014 , regressio口 analysis is carried out , and draws the conclusion that the urbanization level , the savings rate and the number of in surance employees is positively related to insurance industry development , while the social insur- ance and insurance industry development is negatively correlated.
