Abstract:Based on the statistics of international competitions in recent years and the analysis of information materials, the
paper introduces the management model of competitive sports in Russia, the reform on sports training, the level of competi
tive sports as awhole, potential talents of competitive sports and the training of sports teams of higher level. It analyzesthe
developmental actuality of competitive sports and the enlightenment of sports coaching theory in Russia.
