Cultural sites文化遗址 Intangible cultural heritage means the practices, representations, expressions, knowledge, skills – as well as the instruments, objects, artefacts and cultural spaces associated therewith – that communities, groups and, in some cases, individuals recognize as part of their cultural heritage. This intangible cultural heritage, transmitted from generation to generation, is constantly recreated by communities and groups in response to their environment, their interaction?with nature and their history, and provides them with a sense of identity and continuity, thus promoting respect for cultural diversity and human creativity. For the purposes of this Convention, consideration will be given solely to such intangible cultural heritage as is compatible with existing international human rights instruments, with the requirement of mutual respect among communities, groups and individuals, and with sustainable development.? Intangible cultural heritage oral traditions and expressions, including language as a vehicle of the intangible cultural heritage;? (b) the performing arts;? (c) social practices, rituals and festive events;? (d) knowledge and practices concerning nature and the universe;? (e) traditional craftsmanship.? 口头传说和表述，包括作为非物质文化遗产媒介的语言； (b) 表演艺术；? (e) 传统的手工艺技能。 中国端午节申遗 本次申报的遗产名称为“中国端午节”，由湖北秭归县的“屈原故里端午习俗”、黄石市的“西塞神舟会”及湖南汨罗市的“汨罗江畔端午习俗”、江苏苏州市的“苏州端午习俗”四部分内容组成端午申遗，申报材料由三省联合“打包”。 受文化部委托，湖北省代表中国向联合国教科文组织递交了申报表和相关材料。据悉，以上三省四地的“端午习俗”，已于2006年公布为首批国家级非物质文化遗产名录。2009年10月4日，长江日报记者从湖北省非物质文化遗产保护中心证实，湖北代表中国“端午申遗”成功，这也是中国传统节日首次跻身世界“非遗”名录。 What do we eat on Dragon Boat Festival?
