Abstract:OB ECTIVE To analyze the pathogens and dr g resistance in children with comm nity-acq ired low er
respiratory t ract infection to provide g ide for the optimal se of antibiotics.METHODSSp t m samples obtained
from five hospitals incl ding 3881 children patients w ere c lt red.The bacterial strains w ere isolated and identified
by API or MicroScan WalkAw ay40 SI and the antimicrobial s sceptibility w as tested.The ESBLs, AmpC and
M RS w ere examined according to the criteria of g idelines of NCCLS.WHONET5.0 sof tw are was sed for the
analysis of the antimicrobial resistance.RESULTS Totally 1009 pathogenic strains w ere isolated of which 54 1
(53.6%)w ere Gram-negative strains.Most of the strains were w as K l
