Dalian 116011, China 　　【Abstract】　Objective 　　To evaluate curative effect of combined biliar and duodenal stenting in the palliation of biliar and duodenal obstruction.Methods　A retrospective review of 20 patients(17 men and 3 women with an average age of 62 ears old)undergoing combined biliar and duodenal stent placement was carried out.In 16 patients, percutaneous transhepatic stenting were performed for obstructive jaundice, and then duodenal stents were inserted (14 through mouth , 2 through gastic fistula)because of secondar duodenal obstruction.Biliar and duodenal stents were placed simultaneousl in 4 patients with documented and s mptomatic evidence of biliar and duodenal obstructions.Results　All patients showed no evidence of biliar and duodenal restenosis after stenting with survival time from 1 to 14 months(mean 5 months).Conclusions　Combined biliar and duodenal stenting is an effective method for palliation of biliar and duodenal obstructions.(J Intervent Radiol, 2006, 15:157-159) 　　【Key words】　Biliar obstruction;Duodenal obstruction;Stent 　　 [1,2] 。、 1　 , 20 ,17 , 3 ,39 ～93 , , 62 。 。2001 20 、 , , 8 , 7 , 1 ,, 。 , ()4 , CT、
