Strong, proud, and united, the people of St Petersburg are the modern heroes of Russia. Etc. *Ability goals: The students obtain the fast speed reading ability such as scanning abilities, and enlarge their views of culture. *Learning ability goals: Let the students learn how to describe places with the target language in this unit. 4. Main Points: Solve the four questions in Post-reading and recall the students sense of protecting cultural relics. Difficult Points: Analyze the writing characters of the text, and let the students get the conclusion of the real heroes of St Petersburg. Key Points: Make the students understand the reading text better and develop the students knowledge of cultutal relics. 5 Teaching Tools: tape,stereo, Language Repeater.
