M ethods Three freshwhole blood samples of different levels of glucose and two levels of glucose quality controlswere determ ined by five different kinds ofpoint-of-care testing ( POCT) blood glucose meters and the precision was evaluated. Twenty freshwhole blood sampleswere detected by five detection systems in five days. The resultswere analysed the correlation w ith target system( RocheModular PPI automatic biochem ical analyser and relevant reagent, calibrator and quality con- trols) in order to evaluate their accuracy. The technology of five detection systemswere evaluted. R esults The preci- sion and accuracy of alldetection systemswere less than half of permit range aboutglucose POCT established by ational Comm ittee for ClinicalLaboratory Standards ( CCLS) , especially the detection system 3. The correlation coefficients between the evaluated detection system and the target detection system were allmore than 0. 975. The relative bias of the detection system 1was the least. Conclusions The precision and accuracy of five detection systemswere accordedw ith clinical requirements.
