You don’t smoke here! You’d better (not) do … Step 2 Presentation Learn essential expressions: Listen to the tape of essential expressions on P45. Translate the sentences into Chinese. Ask the student to read them after the tape several times. Ask several students to read them one by one , and the teacher check their pronunciation. Teacher say the sentences in Chinese , and ask the students to say them in English quickly. Step 3 Communicative tasks Example : H: I think we’re lost.
