T here are more t han 100 plenar sessions, seminars, w orkshops and side events under the overarching theme, namel Progress and Prospects on W ater: For a Clean and H ealth World w ith Special Focus on Sanitation. In addition to the diverse aspects of sanitation, issues concerning Wa ter and Climat e, Water Resources Management, Environment and Ecos stems, Wastew ater Treatment, Energ and Food Securit and Transboundar Water , w ere prominent discussed throughout the w eek. It also pointed out the research trends of international water problems in this paper.
