公立学校中文教师如何面临挑战 (Chinese Version) 为推进马里兰州的汉语教学，宣扬中华9 名族的传统文化，由中国国家汉办／孔子 学院总部赞助，马里兰大学教育学院创办了中文教师资格证书与发展中心。中心除了培 养学士和硕士学位的持照中文教师以外,以广大从事对外汉语教学的一线教师为载体，以 课堂教学中所面临的挑战为研究对象，旨在提高教师的专业化发展及其课堂管理能力。该 中心的成立将为广大从事对外汉语教学的一线教师搭建交流的平台，为有意从事对外汉语 教学的爱好者提供良好的培训基地。 2011 年2 月11 日，该项目的负责人中文教学专家张瑛女士与马里兰孔子学院院长, 中文教师资格证书与发展中心顾问崔建新教授组织了该项目的首次教学研讨活动”公立学 校中文教师如何面临挑战”。前来与会的有马里兰州多达20 所公立，私立学校正在从事 对外汉语教学的教师30 余人，即将从事对外汉语教学的爱好者若干，以及在马里兰州和 首都华盛顿工作的国家汉办资助的对外汉语教师5 人。这次教学研讨对课堂管理，教师 专业化发展，及对外汉语教学资源等方面进行了深入细致地讨论，为广大与会教师解决了 教学思路，教学方法及教学资源等方面的困惑。本次活动历时2 个小时，气氛热烈，达 到实际的预期效果。 该项目每月会有一到二次的教研活动，将在 ＂语言，语音和文化比较＂, “如何实 施有效教学” ，“如何成为有效教师” ，“如何与美国教师合作，沟通”以及“如何应对 PRAXI1，PRAXIS,2 考试的答题技巧”等方面进行专题讨论与辅导。希望广大教师及爱好者 积极踊跃参加。 如您有意成为中文教师或在职中文教师,请进马里兰大学教育学院中文教师资格证 书与发展中心网站:/EDCI/CCLTCD/index.html English Version: On the evening of Feb. 11th, the Center for Chinese Language Certification and Development (CCLTCD) and the Confucius Institute at the University of Maryland (CIM) co- hosted a very successful workshop, entitled “What are the Challenges and Suggested Solutions for Chinese Teachers in U.S. Public Schools”. The two-hour workshop talked about how to face challenges and solve contradictions which immigrant Chinese language teachers have encountered in U.S. public schools. It attracted more than 30 attendees, including pre-service teachers, inservice teachers, Hanban guest teachers and school administrators from over 20 schools. The topics of this workshop covered how to create age-appropriate and authentic teaching resources, cultivate professionalism, and expand teachers’ knowledge base in professional development.
