Effects of factors on crystallization are investigated, the results show the optimum conditions for the preparation of calcium sulfate whiskers are that ：at the first crystallization stage ，reaction time of 15 min, sulfuric acid mass concentration of 15%, reaction temperature of 75 ℃, crystallization time of 6 h ，under these conditions the effect of recycling use of dilute sulfuric acid is good ；Taking sodium dodecyl sulfate as co-crystals agent in the second crystallization stage, calcium sulfate whisker with uniform crystalline and average aspect ratio of 110.53 can be obtained.
